Business Incubation ProgramsWithin innovation economies, business incubators are an important element, helping start-up companies accelerate their growth by providing the resources needed by these companies throughout the earliest stages of the business lifecycle. Growth Innovators provides a range of services to assist business incubators in strengthening and enhancing their value. We can assist in the strategy, planning, development and implementation of outreach and marketing programs that enhance the visibility of the business incubator, develop a pipeline of new clients, and build support within the community. In addition, Growth Innovators can provide a number of services designed to help the startup client companies of a business incubator advance their business to the next level. These include mentoring and coaching services, goal mapping, and entrepreneur education programs. Our philosophy for mentoring entrepreneurs is to “teach, not do”. This means we coach entrepreneurs on how to create business plans, approach and pitch investors, hire A+ team members, bootstrap, ensure products address urgent market needs, and confirm there is an operational and logistics plan to get the product to the market. We expect entrepreneurs to be active participants in creating their business plans, financing their companies and managing their businesses. Our goal mapping process assists new ventures with developing a milestone-driven roadmap to get from their current reality to their goals. We also offer ongoing educational programs for technology entrepreneurs via Kauffman’s FastTrac ® and Power of Angel Investing programs. In general, we offer our entrepreneur services and programs to the tenants (physical or virtual) of our business incubator clients. We will also work with universities technology commercialization offices to offer these services and programs to their entrepreneurial faculty and students. On occasion, we will directly assist an entrepreneur on an individual or company basis, but we strongly encourage entrepreneurs to take advantage of existing support resources in their area. |
